Dr. Aly Tawfik, Associate Professor of Civil Engineering in the Lyles College of Engineering, is the Institute’s founding Director. Dr. Tawfik has nearly 20 years in the field of transportation systems engineering, with specific experience in modeling, simulation, and optimization of transportation systems as well as numerous projects involving transportation planning, transit design, traffic simulation and design, Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), and autonomous vehicles.

 

Bianca Macias

Bianca Macias was born and raised in Manila, Philippines, and moved to Fresno, CA in 2005 with her family. She recently graduated from Fresno State with a degree in Business Administration, specializing in Computer Information Systems. Bianca began her involvement at Fresno State as a Teacher Assistant with Jumpstart and later worked as a Student Assistant at the International Office. In addition, she has several years of experience in the restaurant industry as a server.

 
 
 
 
 

Emilyann Perez

Emilyann Perez is a Fresno native who is pursuing her undergraduate degree of science in Child Development with the goal of a graduate degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. She provides administrative support to FSTI, and comes to academia with 7 years of administrative and healthcare experience in Fresno and Clovis hospital facilities
