About Fresno State Summer AI Camp
The academy will take place from July 7 to July 11, 2025, running daily from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
The Fresno State Transportation AI Camp is a five-day summer program designed to introduce
MUSD students in grades 9–12 to the intersection of artificial intelligence and transportation
engineering. Hosted at Fresno State by the Fresno State Transportation Institute,
the camp provides a hands-on learning environment where students explore real-world
challenges in mobility and technology.
Key Activities:
• Train and deploy basic AI models
• Build and program mini self-driving vehicles
• Design smart traffic and signal systems
• Participate in guided sessions on:
• Route optimization
• AI-based traffic control
• Autonomous vehicle technologies
• Attend site visits and field trips related to transportation and innovation
