K-12 Outreach Programs
Through the Fresno State Transportation Institute's mission of "Public Outreach," they host a variety of direct educational outreach activities and events with local K-12 schools. These include hands-on class activities about the importance of transportation in the world around them or competitions that foster important problem solving and team-builing skills. In 2023, FSTI hosted their first Railroad Model Competition with 8 participating teams from schools across Fresno County.
