Welcome

The Fresno State Transportation Institute (FSTI) offers a dynamic interdisciplinary experience that explores development and implementation of advanced multimodal and transit projects in Fresno County and beyond.

The Institute is a unique collaboration between Fresno State's Lyles College of Engineering, Craig School of Business, College of Social Sciences, and Fresno Council of Governments. Building a diverse set of activities, its mission includes education, research, technical service, and public outreach.

FSTI Contact Information

FSTI's core message and description, an in depth look at the values and about the organization itself. It contains information on the opportunities they offer, including 12 paid positions for students and what they entail. These range from graduate to undergraduate graphic design and engineering opportunities, and give students valuable experience in their field and for future careers. Additionally, students will be able to gather meaningful connections within the field.

A brochure page containing information on FSTI's core mission, especially highlighting the 4 core points: Technical Service, Outreach, Education, and Research. FSTI works closely with local agencies and companies to provide them with useful resources and funding through grants for infrastructure developments and repairs. FSTI will also seek funding from companies in order to conduct research that will contribute to the cause. Additionally, it seeks to inform the public on transit systems, and educate children through the K-12 program, and FSTI members will contribute their time and efforts into finding out more about potential developments and improvements for transportation. Additionally, it containsinformation on the fresno transportation summit, an opportunity for professionals and locals to be informed on the current state of transportation technology.
