KIND Research Alliance has teamed up with ASEE (American Society for Engineering Education) again and is inviting CSU Engineering faculty to participate in any one or both workshops
1. Essentials of Effective Proposal Preparation

Essentials of Effective Proposal Preparation – June 10 - June 14, 2024 (M-W-F)
Led by two former NSF Program Officers, Essentials of Effective Proposal Preparation is designed to prepare participants to craft and submit a complete and competitive education- oriented grant proposal for NSF. Participants will gain critical proposal preparation knowledge and tools related to proposal rationale, goals and objectives, Broader Impacts criteria, and more. Learn more here!
Session 1: Monday, June 10: 11:00 – 12:30pm, ET
Session 2: Monday, June 10: 1:00 – 2:30pm, ET
Session 3: Wednesday, June 12: 11:00 – 1:00pm, ET (Session 3 is half an hour longer, for a
total of 2 hours)
Session 4: Wednesday, June 12: 1:30 – 3:00pm, ET
Session 5: Friday, June 14: 11:00 – 12:30pm, ET
Session 6: Friday, June 14: 1:00 – 2:30pm, ET
Registration Fee: $675 ($650 if registered by April 1). KIND Program will reimburse $200
after registration.

Beginning Research in Engineering Education: Designing Quantitative and Qualitative Studies - Wed, May 22, 2024, 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm ET
This one-day workshop is designed to provide engineering or technology instructors and administrators with the knowledge and tools to design qualitative and quantitative research studies that can answer meaningful questions related to engineering education. Learn more here.

The regular registration fee for this workshop is $750 per person. However, ASEE is offering 10% group discount1 ($75), and KIND Research Alliance will sponsor $200 each for 10 participants. If selected, the sponsored participants are expected to contribute to similar workshops (as guest speakers / serve as panelists on panel discussions / develop training modules) developed by the KIND Research Alliance Team.
