The KIND program is working to develop a secured Engineering Faculty Equity Dashboard for CSU engineering colleges to provide campuses the ability to analyze faculty hiring, retention, advancement, and service workload data based on gender, URM, foreign born / foreign trained status, and the intersections of these identities. The initial dashboard will include data from seven campuses with the goal of expanding use of the dashboard throughout the CSU system. The dashboard will allow campuses to pinpoint inequities that may exist in the hiring, retention, and advancement of faculty such that the colleges can take a closer look at these areas and implement data-supported, systemic changes, as needed. The inter-institutional nature of the dashboard will allow campuses to benchmark their campus data to the aggregate of the participating CSU campuses.
