Process Controls and Automation Academy

The Process Controls and Automation Academy  (PCA) is a co-curricular professional development program for students and professionals interested in expanding their skills for careers and opportunities in the manufacturing industry. 

The PCA Academy is offering a free, non-credit course to current Fresno State students in Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Technology, and Mechanical Engineering spanning 11 weeks. Students will use state of the art technologies from Fanuc

The course will cover: Introduction and utilization of Fanuc LR Mate robots in industrial applications, project planning, and best practices, I/O devices,  communications, and diagnostics.

The course is FREE of cost to those FRESNO STATE STUDENTS that register and complete the program. 

Course and Schedule: Fall Course starts on February 6th, 2023

Class size will be limited to 14 students. Classes will include daily lectures, with hands on lab exercises. Students will work in pairs. Please see the weekly schedule below for more details.
