Net Positive Consulting Engineers Launches Pioneering EIT Program in Collaboration with Fresno State

Net Positive Consulting Engineers (NPC) is thrilled to announce the initiation of a groundbreaking 5-year program in collaboration with Fresno State University, designed to enable Mechanical Engineering students to obtain California's Engineer-in-Training (EIT) credentials. This pioneering initiative underscores NPC's commitment to supporting the future of engineering in the Central Valley.

The EIT program, fully funded by Net Positive Consulting Engineers, aims to significantly reduce financial barriers for aspiring Mechanical Engineering students. By covering the university's hosting costs and instructor expenses, the program ensures that students can focus on their studies and career advancement without the burden of additional financial stress.

"The success of Fresno State engineering students is key to boosting the Central Valley’s growth and economy,” says Jonathan Schlundt, Owner and Principal Engineer, at NPC. “But what’s even more exciting is their potential to make a big splash on the national and global stage. The Central Valley has great resources but also faces some big challenges, so the engineering breakthroughs coming out of here could really make a difference worldwide by tackling unique problems with fresh ideas and innovation."

This collaboration not only enhances educational opportunities for students but also strengthens the relationship between academia and industry. By fostering a supportive environment for students to achieve their EIT credentials, NPC is contributing to the development of highly skilled engineers who will drive the future of engineering in the central valley and beyond.

Net Positive Consulting Engineers invites the community, industry partners, and media to join in celebrating the launch of this innovative program. Together, we can support the next generation of engineers and ensure a brighter, more prosperous future for the Central Valley.
