Dr. Ho-Lung Li joined the Department of Mechanical Engineering in 2018. He earned
his B.S. in electrical engineering from Tamkang University, followed by a M.S. and
Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering and Mechanics from Drexel University. Prior to joining
Fresno State, Dr. Li was the lead engineer at Shanyu Engineering Technology directing
research teams to design and manufacture control systems for customized projects and
providing professional training for engineers. His expertise includes CAD, FEA, machine
control, system design, modeling and analysis, microfabrication, and 3D Bio-printing.
Previously, he worked on multiple NSF funded projects, including high pressure optical
cell, 3D Bio-printer, artificial photosynthesis devices, unmanned aerial vehicle,
and control of flying munitions.
