Dr. Arezoo Sadrinezhad is an associate professor of Civil Engineering with emphasis in Geotechnical Engineering. She is also a licensed professional engineer in the state of California. Her research interest is in the area of geotechnical earthquake engineering. She has also been actively engaged in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) research in engineering. She recently received an NSF- ADVANCE grant called "KIND" With her colleagues at Fresno State in partnership with Cal State LA, San Jose State, and Cal Poly SLO. This grant aims to strengthen the representation of the female engineering professoriate in the entire CSU system. Dr. Sadrinezhad is also the faculty advisor for the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) student chapter at the Lyles College of Engineering. She actively participates in K-12 outreach program to attract more female students to the Fresno State engineering program.
