All students pursuing a major in the Lyles College of Engineering are assigned a major advisor from their discipline. Students are required to meet with them at least once a year, and have the opportunity to receive additional support and mentorship.

Pathways: Student Services at the Lyles College of Engineering is a “one-stop” student resources center that offers a plethora of resources and services tailored to meet the needs of engineering and construction management students. TRIO Student Support Services - Disabilities (SSS-D) at Fresno State is a college retention and undergraduate program that helps students with disabilities develop academic, professional, and personal skills necessary to successfully pursue and complete a college degree.
The TRIO Student Support Services Veterans (SSSV) program provides supportive services each year to low income and/or first generation and/or Veteran students with disabilities who meet federal eligibility criteria.
Allows Fresno State to provide Windows, Linux, and Macintosh-based software of any device at any time. Students can start working on a project on a Windows computer, continue on an iPad, monitor progress on an Android smartphone and finish the project on a MacBook.
Bulldog Connect at Fresno State combines technology and best practice research to help institutions assist students on their educational journeys. Through Bulldog Connect students can set up advising appointments and request help for tutoring.

Library Digital Services Division at Fresno State offers a wide variety of laptop computers and other technology for Fresno State students to borrow short-term.
Fresno State's new video and web conferencing tool, is now available to all students, faculty, and staff. It can be used from any computer, laptop, tablet, or phone, and it works on PC, Mac, Android and iOS devices. Any Fresno State user can initiate a video or audio meeting, allowing Zoom to be used for any online meeting, whether between two or many people.
