Seismic Table Inaugural Run

This seismic table was designed and built in-house in 2003. Since then it has been used for various research projects.

The total weight of the table is in excess of 9 tons. The hydraulic system is driven by two 100 HP electric motors capable of delivering hydraulic fluid at 100 GPM and 3,000 PSI.

A 40,000 lb structure can move +/- 3 inches at 1.5 G's with a frequency of 2.2.Hz.
